Teaching Duties

Since 1993 I have taught undergraduate land management and agriculture students across a range of modules covering planning, land use, environmental assessment, business law, agricultural holdings law, tax and valuation.

Currently I teach on the following modules:
BSc

  • Introduction to Rural Geography and Economics
  • Planning and Environmental Law and Policy
  • Taxation

MSc

  • Planning and Environmental Policy and Administration
  • Rural Estate Taxation and Planning

I also supervise dissertations at undergraduate and master's level.

Research Interests

  • Local economies and the impact of climate change policies on rural areas
