Over 20 years experience working in the food manufacturing industry.
Working with ambient, chilled and frozen foods in many different product categories together with experience in commercial aspects of the food industry, working with all of the UK’s major and second tier retailers.
A leading member of food new product development teams, often developing new products for retailer own label, expertise focusses in the area of new product development. More recently involved with training and mentoring in the food industry before joining Harper Adams as a Senior Lecturer in 2008.
Teaching duties focus on new product development with a special interest in the theory of teaching and learning.
