Support for international students
International students have an induction before the start of their course. This helps you to settle into your accommodation, tour the campus and locality, organise bank accounts, and register with the police, if needed. It is strongly recommended that you attend when invited. A team of staff is available to support the induction of international students and you can approach them with any questions and concerns that may arise during your time with us.
Dedicated tutors can provide English language classes, study advice and individual support. The International Student Support Manager can help with enquiries about visa renewals and working in the UK. ‘Planet Harper’, run by international students, provides a variety of social and cultural events on campus, and excursions to places of interest.
